We Are So Glad To Be Home

 Hello Friends. Welcome to today's post.

Oh, I am so loving the Spring and soon to be Summer. All the beautiful colors and blooms. From the winter we had with Ice Storm Fern and all, I would say we deserve it and count our blessings. 

I know it has been a while since I have written a normal post. Life has been busy and we have actually enjoyed this work trip and thank goodness it is over and we get to be home. So let's dive into this post. 

I left you all in Vicksburg, MS last and my adventures there. 

We left MS and went to AR.  We were able to find a nice house to rent from a very nice couple. I was able to drive home ( its not very far) and grab our grandchildren for spring break from school. 

They spent the whole week with us. I got to take them on a few adventures as well. We even went ahead and asked the Easter Bunny 🐰 if he could make a special trip to see them there and he did. 

It was time to take them back home and before I left back to AR, I got to spend some time with my Momma and one of my Daughters in law. I only had two days and missed some people. But I will take what I can get with family. 

I was able to cook us some good meals in this house because of the kitchen. Here are some of my meals on video.

Our time ended in AR, so it was back to TN.  This job is a new one for dear hubby. He had been trying for years to get on with this company but I guess the timing was not right back then. But he finally got his foot in the door. They have three plants and we got to go to this one first to finish our work trip. We landed in the Cumberland Mountains.  We found another rent house right on the lake. Beautiful view and nature as well. 

So many babies, mommas and daddy's and beautiful lake sunsets and sunrises. 

We made a trip one day to the farm where our Herd Sire Bull is from and dear hubby showed me around. 

Alot of their bulls are massive and excellent genetics. We love watching their cattle auctions and keeping an eye out. 

The scenery where we were was gorgeous.  

I got to make some good meals for us on this job as well. Beats hotel cooking any day. 

The time finally came when the job was finished and we got to go home. 

We got to attend awards day at our grandchildrens school and enjoy Mothers Day with our kids, their families and my parents 

My granddaughter wanted to take a family photo all by herself setting up her camera and timer and she did a very good job. She even put a title to it. 

Our calving season is rocking on. New calves on the ground. 

We had one born this morning. I am so thankful for a tree 🌳 being between me and this momma yesterday. I saw the change in her eyes before she came after me and I saw my life flash before my eyes. I had to check my drawers when I got home. 😲

We have so many plans for the summer and we have already started some of them. 

There is so much more to come. Just stay tuned.
