We are trying to soak up the last bit of summer we can. Last few naps during the day before school starts (with 50 stuffies I might add), and the, "I need a drink of water", last minute.
Last few swims during the day
Last few date days and taking them places like to see a movie and eat at a nice restaurant
Or to take them to go get the biggest shakes ever
Oh, who am I kidding? We will still do all these things, we will just find different days and times to do them. Like, after school or weekends.
School may have started back but it still can't spoil our fun. Got to swim a bit before running in the house before storm came. Ate supper. Then created theater atmosphere with colored spotlights in the ceiling, surround sound, smores using a tabletop fire pit, popcorn and movie kind of night. 😊😊😊😊
Soaking up the rest of summer.
I turned another year older but I am so blessed. Had a shrimp boil with the family.
We took two feeder calves to the processor and now we have a freezer full of meat.
Back in May, we ordered a box of peaches from our schools fund raising program for athletics department. We finally got them in and I got to working on processing them.
I will do a written tutorial on this process in a different post. But for now, you can watch a video tutorial
We are still working on projects around here. Still have more to go.
