Oh, such a sad day. It is hard for me to imagine someone loving me so much that they would give their life for me and take on all the punishment for my sins. I am so sorry he had to. However, God's love for us is to redeem us. This was his only way. I can not imagine Mary's heartbreak. As a mother, it would be horrible. Jesus did warn his disciples and Mary that this would happen and had to be. Our human nature could not really comprehend the depth of what he was really saying until the day it happened. Then they lay our Lord to rest. As a natural-born sinner, I am so thankful he gave his life for me, and that is why I live for him.

Do you know how much he loves you? I mean REALLY LOVES YOU!!!!! I hope you take the time to reflect on this today. My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you today.
